Migraine Management:
Massage is a great way to manage stress and relieve tension- two of the main causes of migraine headaches. Migraine Management massages will work strictly with the upper body. Depending on where the client’s migraines are located will indicate which areas will be focused on. Migraine Management massages will be a mixture of deep tissue, trigger point, stretching, myofascial, and TMJ. This can also be per- formed on its own or as an add on.
TMJ:
This is a service that can be done on its own or can be added onto the massage of your choice. In this session the muscles in the face and jaw are worked from the inside and outside the mouth to relieve pain from TMJ disorder
Prenatal:
The benefits of massage can improve overall prenatal health for many pregnant women. Along with the guidance and advice of a prenatal care provider, massage therapy can be incorporated into routine prenatal care as an emotional and physical health supplement proven to improve pregnancy outcome, and maternal health. Benefits include: reduced pregnancy discomfort, decrease pain in the pelvic/ hip area, increase circulation, improves skin elasticity that can help reduce stretch marks, helps reduce swelling in hands and lower legs and promotes relaxation and deep breathing. Consult with your midwife or obstetrician before beginning any new therapeutic practice.
