Orthopedic Therapy

Neck massage

Our Physical Therapists and assistants are highly trained clinicians in the treatment of orthopedic injuries. Whether it
is a sports injury, a pain which
has developed over time or a surgical procedure such as a
rotator cuff repair; our doctors
will have you back on your game in no time. We take pride in our services and will strive to meet your goals for a safe return back
to work, the field and everyday life.

As a patient, expect a thorough evaluation of your condition, education on your condition and discussion of a treatment plan.
Your treatment sessions last approximately 45 minute to an hour
and a typical treatment plan consists of 2 to 3 visits a week for a
4 week span.

Therapist manipulating patient's armTreatments typically consist of hands-on stretching, which may include joint mobilizations and soft tissue mobilization (similar to massage – please see our manual therapy page for more information) and exercises geared on stretching and strengthening specific muscles to normalize the mechanics of a joint; which will allow for more freedom of motion and improved strength for activities.

We typically use modalities such as ultrasound, moist heat, cold pack and electrical stimulation to assist with healing and pain control. We have been successful in treating many orthopedic diagnoses including but not limited to:

Therapist manipulating patient's legPost-surgical: Post-surgical rotator cuff rehab, post-surgical
shoulder scopes, post-surgical knee scopes, tendon repairs (biceps, elbow, hand, wrist, knee, ankle), after hip and knee replacement, after ankle surgery, shoulder replacement, back and neck fusions, microdiscectomy and many more.

General Pain: Treatment of patients with general neck, back, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and ankle pain. Commonly this
type of pain occurs either as a traumatic event (car accident, trip and fall, sports injury) or there is no specific incident, but has occurred over time.
